About Lisa

When I was a little girl, my preschool teachers would send notes home to my mom explaining that I didn’t play well with others. She would always giggle to herself, tear ‘em up and thought, “Well, that’s not true.” So, one day she decided to volunteer at my school so she could observe me. What she quickly discovered was that while all the other children were busy finger painting, Little Lisa was being a free-spirit and independently engaging in imaginative activities, like playing dress up, but never forgetting who else was in the room. By the time the teachers looked up to instruct the class to clean up for snack time, I had already set the tables with an accounted place for all. And this essentially marked the moment where I first learned how to orchestrate the world of creativity while leaving a seat at the table for everyone to join.

Being naturally independent, vastly imaginative, focused on organized details and especially caring of others, it’s no surprise I have built my career around art direction and client marketing where everyone wants to tell a piece of the story. I am a designer at heart, but my true passion lies in breaking things apart and finding a way to put them back together to communicate a different narrative and solution that breaks boundaries and exceeds expectations. My proudest accomplishments have derived from the relationships that I have developed professionally (and well, personally). Much like inside the walls of an ad agency, connections come and go, but knowing I left behind something even a little better than when I first found it makes me happy.
